You Have To Play El Paso Gunfight by NoLimit City

Check out our review of El Paso Gunfight xNudge

NoLimit City has released a new Wild West-themed online pokie it calls El Paso Gunfight xNudge. Wild West pokies are nothing new, but NoLimit City has injected some serious fun into this machine.

El Paso Gunfight xNudge is set around the “Four Dead in Five Seconds” gunfight involving Texas gunfighter and lawman Dallas Stoudenmire. He infamously accounted for three of the four dead bandits, with all four dying in five seconds.

A quick word of warning before we delve into this review. El Paso Gunfight xNudge is not for the faint-hearted. You have a choice of high volatility or extremely high volatility. We have warned you.

El Paso Gunfight xNudge Fundamentals

The game is set in an Old West saloon where you have a choice of two layouts. The standard and recommended, 4-3-3-3-2 layout has high volatility. There is a 2-3-3-3-4 layout if you fancy extreme variance!

You never play El Paso Gunfight xNudge with less than 216 win lines. It is possible, however, to have 43,334 pay-lines on the screen at any one time. You need as many ways to win as possible because this game’s variance is brutal.

$0.25 is the smallest possible bet, while $50 is the maximum. The maximum possible win is a cool 44,440x, meaning $11,100 at the lowest stakes and $2,222,000 when betting $50 per spin.

That maximum payout is enormous, but the house edge is not the greatest. The typical Return To Player (RTP) is only 96.06%. Combine this with the vicious volatility, and you have a recipe for a bankroll shredder.

What Are The El Paso Gunfight Symbols?

There are nine main paying symbols to look out for when playing El Paso Gunfight xNudge. Royals are the lowest-value symbols, paying between 0.08x for three and 1.00x for five.

The four men shot dead in the real gunfight make up the higher-value symbols. These pay between 0.28x for matching three and up to 6.00x for matching five.

Symbol Three Four Five
Campbell 0.40x 1.00x 6.00x
Krempkau 0.36x 0.60x 3.20x
Hale 0.32x 0.48x 2.40x
Bystander 0.28x 0.40x 2.00x
Aces 0.24x 0.36x 1.00x
Kings 0.20x 0.32x 0.92x
Queens 0.16x 0.28x 0.88x
Jacks 0.12x 0.24x 0.84x
Tens 0.08x 0.20x 0.80x

Stoudenmire himself makes an appearance in the form of NoLimit City’s nudging wilds. He lands on reels 2, 3, and 4 and is three rows high. He always nudges fully into view, with the win multiplier increasing by one for each nudge.

There is also a gun-totting skull that acts as the game’s scatter. Landing three of these starts the gunfight spins.

Look out for the Deputy and Marshall badges, too, because they trigger raids. More on those in the features section.

What Are This Game’s Features?

Although not a feature as such, it is cool that NoLimit City arms you with a revolver. You do not see it but clicking anywhere on the layout shoots the gun! It is possible to damage the symbols in addition to shooting glass bottles etc., on the board! Your gun reloads after each spin, giving you another six shots. It is a pointless feature, but surprisingly good fun, and adds to your enjoyment.

We mentioned the Stoudenmire xNudge Wilds in the section above. They can lead to significant wins.

Landing a Deputy Badge anywhere on the board starts the Deputy Raid. More badges appear before being converted to matching low-value symbols. The Marshall Raid works in the same way, except the symbols convert to premiums. Badges turn into wilds, and the board extends to 4-3-3-3-4 if both badges land on the same spin.

Three scatters give you eight Gunfight Spins where the scatters become jumping wilds. Landing Deputy or Marshall badges award an extra spin and upgrades the Gunfight Spins to one of three possible rounds.

  • 9 Deputy or Marshall Gunfight Spins – these have jumping wilds plus either Deputy or Marshall Raids for added effect
  • 10 Drunken Gundfihuth&r… Spins – this is the daddy of the features. You receive five jumping wilds on a 4-3-3-3-4 grid, plus sticky Stoudenmire xNudge WIlds.

There is a special feature that is extremely rare. Landing all five character symbols results in the 4 Dead in 5 Seconds feature. You receive one respin, but Stoudenmire Wilds expand to cover reels 2, 3, and 4, plus there is a multiplier in play.

Conclusion

El Paso Gunfight xNudge has ridiculous variance, so much so that we were worried about playing it. We need not have feared because this is a superb pokie. We love how you can shoot up the board, and the Deputy and Marshall versions of the Gunfight Spins are incredibly exciting.

Try it today and see if you can rack up some enormous wins.
